Utility bills payment

ATMs can be used for paying your utility bills such as insurance premiums, electricity bills, and telephone bills. However, such payments get done only if they do not cross the due dates.

Request for cheque books

Cardholders can request for cheque books too through the ATM where they hold an account. However, remember while making a new request, make sure the provided address is up to date.

Credit card payments

Most of the ATMs have the options for credit card bill payments. However, you must make the payment at the ATM owned by the bank who issued the credit card to you.

Paying taxes

Cardholders need to register for this service when they get their ATM card. You can only make payment for direct taxes here. Once the cardholder registers for the provision, the amount payable gets debited from the card holder’s account. Once debited, the cardholder receives a special item number which you can add while filing for taxes.

Recharging mobile phones

You use the debit card for recharging your mobile phone as well. You can do so by visiting the ATM owned by the cardholder’s bank. The process requires the cardholder to enter the mobile number and ATM PIN to confirm the transaction.
